Interim Asbestos Surveying Services

Southampton City Council (the "Council") is seeking to procure, via this Request for Quote ("RFQ"), a suitably experienced and accredited supplier that shall provide asbestos ("ACM") surveying and analytical services to the Council for a contract term of four months only ("the Interim Services").

The Council's requirement for the Interim Services arises from the ongoing demand for ACM surveying and analytical services by Council officers in the Council's Housing Operations Team and the Council's Asset Management Teams more generally, for an interim period during which the Council shall undertake the re-procurement of the Council's proposed long-term contracting arrangement in connection with the provision of ACM Surveying and Analytical Services.

As set out in the RFQ 3.0: the Scope of Services document, the successful supplier shall be required to provide the Interim Services to support the Council's planned asset lifecycle replacement programmes of works or home improvement works and also the Council's the repairs and voids works in connection with the Council's domestic housing assets only. The supplier shall not be required to provide the Interim Services to the Council's corporate assets.
