Support for the ‘Procurement of Services’

The Business Growth Hub wishes to appoint a single service provider to enter into a Contract for the Support for the Procurement of Services required by the GM Business Growth Hub as set out below.

The successful provider will be responsible for the initial support work required to put in place a compliant public procurement process for a number of bespoke contracts and also frameworks of suppliers / providers. Depending on the advice provided, these will follow sub-OJEU and/or OJEU procurement processes. The contract may be extended beyond initial support to provide further assistance immediately, or at a later stage depending on resources and the agreed strategy.

The provider will be expected to provide project management for the initial procurement process and direction to senior management and service leads who will be providing input and support on specific procurement needs across the Hub as part of the initial and evaluation process.

In addition, the successful provider will provide advice on the appropriate procurement method for different services; project management of activities relating to the effective procurement of the frameworks and contracts; and support to the senior management team to ensure adherence with internal and ERDF rules and regulations.

Subject to funding this opportunity is part-funded by European Regional Development Funds within the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme.
