description

Works are to be carried out to permanently separate the warden's house from the sheltered block and extend No1A John Lamb Court Wardens House to create one new wheelchair accessible flat and one 'whole life' flat with double carport extension. The building was constructed circa early 1980's and is of brick-block cavity construction with pitched roof over. The Warden's House is attached to the main sheltered block of 30-flats and linked at both ground and first floor levels with interconnecting doors both temporarily separated. Services: gas, water, heating, hot and cold water services, electrical and fire alarm are currently shared with the main block but are to be separated prior to the start of the contract. The block communal aerial/satellite system will be split by others to allow reception to each flat. No1A John Lamb Court is accessed off 'The Bye Way' Wealdstone via the sheltered block car park.
