SC21004 Maidstone Grammar Girls School 1FE Expansion

The Kent County Council's (the Contracting Authority) Capital Projects Department are looking to procure a two stage Design & Build Principal Contractor via the Principal Contractor's Framework Lot 2 to provide Design & Build Services starting with RIBA stage 2 Concept Design, up to and including RIBA stage 4 and planning application/consultation assistance.

The services are required for: -

A new 1FE expansion - new two storey build providing visitor centre learning facility, additional general teaching classrooms, additional and replacement science laboratories and preparation space, music suite, removal of T block and N block with reprovision of a toilet block/catering outlet and complete and make good all associated hard and soft landscaping.

The need for additional pupil places will be realised in September 2023 all subject to planning.

Demolition of T Block and N Block:

• Reinstatement of the external hard standing
