LONDON REGION APMS GP CONTRACT MARKET EVENT
NHS England London Region will be holding a half day APMS Market Engagement Event as follows:
Wednesday 4th November 2015
1.50pm to 3.45pm.
The Wesley, Euston House, 81-103 Euston Street, London, Greater London, UK, NW1 2EZ
A similar event was held two years ago, in October 2013, to launch the APMS Programme. At that launch event we explained our standardised approach to APMS procurements, contracts, service specification, KPIs and Price. Following the event a number of changes were made to the proposed contract as a result of feedback from delegates. The first three tranches of the programme have resulted in the successful procurement of ten APMS contracts using the standard London contract and methodology. We are about to start Tranche 4 which will offer the greatest number of opportunities to potential providers so far. We would therefore like to offer you a fresh chance to obtain an overview of the programme as a whole, and of the opportunities offered by Tranche 4 in particular.
The aim of the event is to:-
- Outline and share the approach NHS England London Region, in partnership with CCG colleagues, takes to tendering for Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contracts.
- Outline the London Service Specification, KPIs, Pricing Mechanism and Monitoring regime.
- Provide indicative information to potential Bidders about the Tranche 4 tenders that are expected to be published for procurement in November.
- Share draft timelines for Tranche 4 of the programme.
- Allow potential service providers the opportunity to ask questions.
Indicative Agenda:
1.50pm - Arrival & refreshments
2.15pm - Presentation
3.15pm – Questions and Answer session
3.45pm - Close
If you think that you may wish to bid for an APMS service within London, either now or in the future, this will be your ideal opportunity to meet with NHS England London Region’s Primary Care Commissioning representatives and to find out how both the potential procurements and the contract may work.
