Bolsover District Council (BDC) is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work alongside staff throughout the delivery of The Arc Leisure Facility Development.
The Authority has taken on an ambitious development of the current main administration building working with Pulse Fitness to extend the current leisure facilities on site providing the following:
25m x 6 lane swimming pool
12m x 5m deck level learner pool
Water slide feature
Poolside thermal suite consisting of sauna, steam room, ice room, etc.
Children’s soft play area
Cafeteria/vending area
New village changing facilities
Enlarging the existing gym facility
- new dance studios
- new spin studio
Some of these features will be incorporated within the existing building fabric but there will be a large new build extension that incorporates the vast majority located to the rear of the building. (See plans attached to appendix A).
The development is part of a number of projects that will help BDC to achieve the aims set out within the corporate plan and the vision to enhance and improve the wealth profile, well-being and quality of life for the communities of Bolsover District.
