MARITIME AND COASTGUARD AGENCY MARKET ENGAGEMENT EXERCISE – COURIER SERVICES

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is seeking early engagement with the supply market for courier services, on our requirement for domestic and international deliveries to both business and residential addresses. This consultation may lead to the publication of a call for competition in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), but at this stage our aim is to canvass opinions from potential suppliers about our procurement approach and specification, in an attempt to maximise interest in the requirement. Additional information: The MCA’s current intention is to advertise for suppliers of courier services via a contract notice in the OJEU, following the conclusion of this market consultation exercise. However, we do not guarantee that any such contract notice will be placed or any contract awarded. Potential suppliers should note that this market consultation exercise is not, and will not necessarily lead to, a request for tenders.
