GB-Great Yarmouth: Marina Leisure Centre Demolition Works

The complete demolition of all above ground structures at the existing Marina Leisure Centre and external WC/kiosk in the north car park. The works also comprise the below ground demolition including breaking out of all slabs and foundations and the crushing of the arising materials and subsequent backfilling of pits and voids. The works will also require assistance in the disconnection of existing services and are subject to planning approval.

Please note: the successful Contractor (if any) will also be required to erect the full site hoarding which is to be of solid (metal or timber) construction at the site boundary. This hoarding will thereafter remain for the duration of the Main Contract construction works also. It is anticipated this is likely to be a separate order to the preferred Demolition Bidder ahead of the full Contract award.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
