1762 Campus Wide CCTV Project at De Montfort University, Leicester

The University requires the provision of supplier to:

• oSupply, install, test and commission the CCTV services installations defined in the specifications and attached documents.

The extent of the works to include but not be limited to the following: -

• oReplace existing analogue CCTV cameras with digital units including all associated fixings, brackets, etc. all structured cabling supporting the new cameras is to be provided and installed by the client
• oProvide and fit new network video recorder (NVR) devices to support the new digital CCTV cameras.
• oReplace existing security room equipment currently supporting the analogue systems with that required for the digital replacement CCTV cameras including controllers, software, monitors, etc.
• oCarry out all builders work and making good as necessary in relation to the works.
• oProvide all necessary equipment to carry out the works including towers, scaffolding, barriers, electric lifts, cranes, etc.
• oOption - Replace or upgrade existing NVR devices outside those specifically related to the scheme works identified above.
• oTesting, commissioning and demonstration of all systems on completion.
• oProvision of test certificates, commissioning results, O&M manuals and record drawings as

necessary.
