description

Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council (the Councils) are producing two new development plans. A new joint Greater Cambridge Local Plan (GCLP), which will cover the combined geographic area of the two local authorities, and a joint Area Action Plan for the strategic development area of North East Cambridge (NEC) that straddles the administrative boundaries of both authorities.

The Councils are seeking suitably qualified consultants to:

Prepare a Retail & Leisure Study for the Greater Cambridge combined area and

To support the councils during the plan making process on any issues related to retail and commercial leisure matters, including at examination. Given the uncertainties relating to timing and nature of work, it is proposed to deal with this using day rates established though this commission.
