description

The Commission intends to develop and run questions that could be used for a national barometer of prejudice and discrimination. These questions will capture prejudice and experiences of discrimination in a comparable way across different areas of life and protected characteristics in England, Scotland and Wales. This is part of a project to improve the evidence base on tackling prejudice, discrimination and identity-based harassment in Britain. Please see Strategic Aim 2 in the Commission's 2016/17 Business Plan.
