Safe Access to Fuel Barge Works - Ramsgate Harbour

The contract is to supply and fit safe pedestrian access in accordance with BS 6349 or best industry practice, to service the pontoon adjacent to the fuel barge in all weathers and tidal ranges. It is anticipated that this would be in the form of a cantilevered platform at the southern end of Commercial Quay to service a gangway.

The Contract is anticipated to commence upon 04 November 2019 for a duration of six weeks.

The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal quotations. All quotations will be accepted subject to the bidder providing suitable responses to grounds for Mandatory and Discretionary Rejection and that minimum standards are met as set out in the Invitation to Quote document. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria as set out in the Invitation to Quote document.

Completed quotation documents must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 28 October 2019.
