GB-Milton Keynes: CT0451 Remit for Town Planning Support Services

Experienced town planners are needed to support the pre-application stage of the Development Consent Order. The supplier will work with the East West Rail Co team as required to deliver the activities and deliverables.

Over the coming year EWR Co will need town planning specialist support in the following areas:

•DCO expertise - support the Head of Programme Consents on the DCO working Group, develop and run DCO briefings for EWR teams, provide strategic advice to support delivery of the Consents Strategy, develop and monitor a DCO application logistics plan, update and maintain the DCO stakeholders schedule;

•Planning Inspectorate and Local authority major application engagement - deliver strategy and support delivery of engagement with Planning Inspectorate and local planning authorities;

•Develop and support the strategy and plan for EWR to integrate with local spatial and development plans and to monitor, report and agree consultation responses to local plans;

•Monitor, report and agree consultation responses on major applications potentially affecting EWR.

It is envisaged that the contract will run from October 2020 - May 2021.
