Survey of peat depth/soil types and recommended restoration measures for deep peat areas on 3 separate areas of Levisham Estate totalling 66 ha.

Site survey and evaluation. Measure peat depths and mineral soils across the study areas. Describe ecological condition of peat and vegetation (inc. NVC and frequency of certain species). Also assess hydrological issues and land use issues.

Write a report to conclude whether the sites are suitable for restoration. If restoration is needed a detailed restoration plan will be written (inc. methods, timescales, estimated costs, constraints and monitoring).

All work to be completed by Tues 20 March 2018.
