Executive Search services to source an Aspire Replacement Programme - HR Director – 1 post. Location, this role can be based in either Telford or London. Relocation costs will not be reimbursed.
Role Profile
To support its customer-centric business strategy and transformation HMRC has created a change portfolio consisting of over a hundred projects and programmes, organised into a number of clusters.
The purpose of the role is to lead the People elements of transforming how a large scale IT function operates in a mixed delivery model. The jobholder will need to define a change strategy as well as lead the cultural change required when working in changing organisations.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the transformation of an organisation.
Defining the people strategy to ensure retention & develop strong performance management outcomes.
Leading a culture change and engagement programme, working jointly with Corporate Communications to implement the communications strategy to support this work.
Providing visible day-to-day leadership for the Aspire Replacement Programme Team, and to other parts of the portfolio within HMRC and across the department more generally, and wider representation of the portfolio outside HMRC Leading cross functional teams, including contractors and IT suppliers, to build consensus throughout the organisation to instigate real change and sustainable value.
Establishing effective governance with clear roles, accountabilities and responsibilities across their portfolio.
Work collaboratively with HMRC HR leadership, and Civil Service HR, achieving buy-in for significant change, and building an effective relationship with the Chief People Officer and other key stakeholders.
