Public Health England, is seeking a contractor to design, supply, deliver and install a an FM-200 Chemical Clean-Agent Gaseous Fire Suppression System into the new server room at Porton Down, Salisbury.

The system must have a dual loop detection systems and be capable of detecting smoke and fire and then trigger to extinguish the fire within the room. To cover any possible power outage there must be a 24 hour battery backup on all panels and equipment. There must be the capability within the system to connect to the room based Emergency Power Off (EPO) button, and there must be a capability to facilitate a hold-off button to delay the release of the gas. There must be a suitable sounder and beacon to alert of an activation.
