(NU/1044) Main Contractor for Richardson Road Student Accommodation
Additional information: This is a two stage design and build contract for the Main contractor for Richardson Road Student Accommodation. A contractor will be appointed for stage one with a view to continue with stage 2 at the discretion of the University. The project is for a new build scheme including circa 1303 bedroom units (six blocks) and a sports centre. Existing accommodation and the boiler house will be demolished and works undertaken to make the area good for future use. A turnkey approach is required for this project and the main contractor will provide pre-constructed pod units or a traditional construction solution which will be fully fitted. The project will require design and construction and delivery to BIM level 2 with required soft landings approach.
