Nottinghamshire County Council (The Council) have been appointed the Managing Agent for the Careers Local Enterprise Grant (a D2N2 http://www.d2n2lep.org/ programme jointly funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Skills Funding Agency (SFA)). T The Council wish to develop a framework of suitably qualified employability and enterprise Providers from which eligible Educational Institutions, (schools, specialist schools, academies, alternative learning centres, virtual schools and colleges) , will have £10,000 to spend on Employability and Enterprise Activities to young people aged 15 - 19 who are at risk of being NEET in the D2N2 area The Providers will be expected to have a track record of success with the client group, take a creative approach to engaging disaffected young people and provide a range of activities which young people can actively participate in. The Council is expecting to appoint between 6 and 12 Providers on the framework, subject to providers meeting the minimum scoring threshold and providing a geographical spread across Derby City, Derbyshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire The types of provision required has been split into four broad lots. Each lot will have number of activities associated with it and providers can bid for one, or as many as they feel they can deliver. It will be assumed that the Provider can deliver the activity in any Educational Institution located in the Derby City, Derbyshire, and Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire areas unless they indicate in their submission otherwise i.e. ( limited to a County, City or District etc.) The tender will be split into Lots as follows: Lot 1 Employability Lot 2 Enterprise Activities Lot 3 Employer Interactions Lot 4 Educational Institution Staff Development
