description
The Department for International Trade in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Pakistan (MEAP region) wishes to commission a research study to understand what technology solutions will be required by the governments and private sectors in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain to deliver their economic diversification plans. The focus is on technology requirements for Healthcare, Life Sciences, Education, and Smart Cities.
This study will be used to inform DIT's exports strategy for the region and highlight which specific technology solutions, products and services it will need to offer and promote to key public and private stakeholders and buyers in the region. We anticipate the research to be comprised of secondary desk research (to be completed by end March 2019) and primary qualitative research interviews with senior stakeholders in the four markets (to be completed by end April 2019), with a final research debrief report by mid May 2019. The project will require a research agency with qualitative research experience in the Gulf and an in-depth knowledge of the technology sector.
