Edge Hill University wish to appoint a Service Provider to provide an Integrated Waste Management Service to manage the majority of the wastes generated on the Ormskirk campus over the next 3 years, with a possible extension for up to a further 2 years, in a way which will enable the University to reduce waste arisings, maximise recycling and recovery and to minimise the quantity of waste going for disposal to landfill. Bidders should note that post contract award the scope of the contract may be subject to variations to cater for urgent and/or unforeseen additional services.

Additional information: Edge Hill University are seeking to appoint a Service Provider to provide an Integrated Waste Management Service to manage the majority of the wastes generated on the Ormskirk campus over the next 3 years., with a possible extension for up to a further 2 years.This contract is for a 3 year period and may be extended for a further 2 years. The Contract may be subject to change in value and/or contract length depending on tenders received

In accordance with Regulation 86 and 87 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the contracting authority will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period starting from the day when contract award was notified to the bidders. Unsuccessful bidders will be provided with a de-brief on the award decision at the start of the standstill period including details of their bid in relation to the winning bid comprising the reasons for the decision, the characteristics and relative advantages of the successful tender, the score of the economic operator and the name of the economic operator to be awarded the contract. Tenderers have a right to appeal provided for within the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Any such proceedings must be brought in the High Court of England and Wales.
