The University of Salford seek to procure the services of a Principal Contractor to undertake the removal of existing windows on the 2nd floor East elevation of Humphrey Booth House and replacement with new UPVC double glazed windows. The works will also involve the partial strip and recovering of the flat roof above the first floor level along the East elevation of the building.

The project will briefly consist of the strip out and removal of existing external UPVC glazing windows on the 2nd floor of the building, adjacent to the flat roof above first floor level, installation of new UPVC double glazed window units, provision of temporary high-level access as necessary to execute the works, strip out of redundant services within the first floor roof void, partial strip and re-covering and making good works, inc. decoration.
