The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) invites Tenders for the Replacement of Low Voltage (LV) Infrastructure at their Science Division (Health & Safety Laboratory) located at Harpur Hill, Buxton SK17 9JN. The contract will include:

the isolation and removal of existing redundant switchgear including external feeder pillars and internal distribution equipment from within buildings;
the provision of new sub-main cabling within trenching and ducting (circa 400metres);
provision and installation of new route mounted Feeder Pillars;
provision and installation of a new LV switch panel within a new Glass Reinforced Plastic walk-in enclosure;
final connections to existing electrical equipment, testing, commissioning and making ready for operational use;
civil engineering work for the excavation and insulation of ducting, installation of Feeder Pillars; trenching in of hard and soft landscaping and the construction of several concrete bases;
the requirement to act as Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations;
