TC1035 - Supply (Hire) of Festive Lighting Features and tree lights

The Council is seeking to procure the hire of illuminated festive features and tree light strings to support its celebration of the festive season across the city.

This tender is for the hire of -

illuminated festive features suitable for mounting on lighting columns and operating on a mains (230v) supply

illuminated tree light strings suitable for decorating outdoor trees, operating on a 24v dc supply, including transformer(s)

The period of hire will be typically 4 months from October 2022 to end of January 2023.

The Council is using the e-business portal known as the Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link www.the-chest.org.uk . Once registered, applicants will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the documentation relating to this opportunity. Applicants will need to electronically submit their completed tender documents, including online questionnaire, via the on-line portal by 11am on Monday 26th September 2022 as referred to in IV.2.2. Any clarification queries must also be submitted via the Chest website by the date referred to in the tender documentation.

The contract will be for two years with an option to extend for a further two years.
