East Herts Council announces an upcoming procurement opportunity for a concession contract for the supply, installation and maintenance of electric vehicle charge points within its car parks. This 15-year contract aims to deliver a minimum of 60 EV charge points within the first three years, supporting the Council's commitment to sustainable transport infrastructure.

The procurement bundle will include a detailed specification, concession contract and associated lease agreements to ensure clear technical, operational and commercial frameworks. Bid teams are advised to prepare accordingly. Formal procurement will launch by 9th December 2024 with an anticipated deadline for returns of early February 2025.
