description
This specification concerns the design, manufacture, testing, delivery to Daresbury Laboratory, installation and documentation of a radio frequency reference distribution system and the potential to supply further identical systems. The RF reference distribution system bid must comprise of:-
- A system that can take in the CLARA RF reference of 2998.5MHz at 10dBm and distribute the signal over up to 70 meters. This will be called the transmitter system.
- A system to receive the CLARA RF reference signal from the transmitter system that can output the 2998.5MHz signal at 10dBm. This will be called the receiver system.
- The specification of signal and control cables that need to be installed between the transmitter and receiver to provide an overall low drift and low jitter reference distribution system. STFC Daresbury laboratory will be responsible for purchasing and installing the required cabling system.
- Installation of the transmitter and receiver systems, commissioning and a site acceptance test (SAT) to be performed at Daresbury Laboratory.
