Postgraduate Admissions System at Lancaster University

The Purchaser is inviting expressions of interest on the terms set out in this Tender for a postgraduate admissions system to be used for all new applications for Lancaster University. This will include at a high level:

• a)An applicant/ agent portal
• b)An admissions processing system
• c)A way of integrating with other systems (such as our student record system, accommodation etc).

The current number of applications is approximately 18,000 per year.

The number of users will be approximately 315:

15. admin licences
50. super licences - where a user can fully process all stages of an application
100. standard licences - where a user can update specific parts of the process
150. read only licences - give them access to view the information in the application but do not update any part of the process directly in the system.

Suppliers are invited to put forward proposals for two different options:

Option 1 = Off the shelf solution with customization to be advised by the supplier.

Option 2 = Third Party, Developer Led, solution.

It is preferred that suppliers submit a response for BOTH options. Suppliers must note and understand that at some point in the process a preferred option will be identified.

Please clearly indicate in your covering letter the option(s) you are bidding for.
