Removals and Storage Services 2023-2026

The Authority require a removals and storage services provider for the period of 3 years.

The Service comprises two parts:-

• a)Removals and Storage - Removals mainly associated with home contents collection, containerised storage and redistribution, for which we currently have around the equivalent of 50 containers in storage. (Containers based on industry standard 250 cuft ).

• b)Removals - Removals mainly associated with relocation only e.g. school classrooms or offices and other buildings;

The Authority requires the Contractor to provide the Service or any part thereof on its behalf. The Service shall be provided fully in accordance with the Contract Standard and in a professional, diligent and timely manner with the highest standards of customer service. The Contractor shall be a current member of the British Association of Removers (BAR) or be able to demonstrate the standards and requirements of BAR as a minimum.

1. Duration

The initial contract is for thirty six months with no options to extend, after which renewals will be undertaken in accordance with the Authority's contract Standing Orders North Tyneside Co Quadrant Cobalt 16 The Silverlink North Cobalt Business Park North Tyneside
