Dark Fibre Circuits

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (SBC) wishes to appoint a Provider to install and maintain Dark Fibre circuits to allow for a minimum 1 G/Byte data service to some 120 locations throughout the borough. The provider will also be responsible for maintaining the physical circuits and rectifying faults. SBC will provide its own Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to attach to these circuits and thus take responsibility for implementing network services. Contract is for 60 months from 12th February 2016 with an SBC option to extend for a further 60 months to 11th February 2026.
