description
The Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP) provides NHS ambulance services in England with a digital radio network and associated communications services, including a managed service for radio terminals, Integrated Communications Control Systems (ICCS) and mobile data applications. The current technology for critical voice communications is TETRA and the current provider is Airwave Solutions Limited (ASL).
The contractual agreement between the Department of Health (DH) and ASL provides for a benchmark review to be undertaken in accordance with the procedures set out in Clause 22 of the Project Agreement (Annex B of the ITT) and Schedule 1.4: Benchmarking (Annex C of the ITT).
