Ofgem is undergoing an internal Strategic Transformation Programme (STP). The STP is about building an organisation that delivers better outcomes for energy consumers by:
-Aligning our activities and resources with our strategic objectives
-Investing in our assets and our capability as an organisation
The STP has four strategic priorities - strategy, people, processes and technology. A key objective is to make sure our people have the right skills, capabilities and expertise to deliver the Ofgem Strategy. We also need to ensure that our performance management, reward, skills and capability and talent management strategies align to support our organisational goals.
Ofgem is commissioning an expert advisor to validate the outputs of our skills and capability review, provide strategic advice and insights, and assist with implementing and embedding the final recommendations.
