The contract is for the provision of centre management services. The contract will be for a period of 5 years Bidder is expected to have significant experience in the management of business incubator centres and creative industry sector.The enterprise centres under the scope are: Lot 1 Mandatory bid -Ashton Old Baths Lot 2 Mandatory bid - Tameside Centre for Enterprise Mandatory Variant bid - Joint Tameside Centre for Enterprise and Ashton Old Baths Bidders must bid for both lots and submit the mandatory variant bid for both centres. Ashton Old Baths The successful supplier will be responsible for providing tenant/facility management services together with delivering a comprehensive business support service to incubatees. Primarily but not exclusively the contract will involve the following: Developing the Business plan for the operation of the AOB Business Incubator. Promoting and marketing the AOB Business Incubator to potential clients and attracting clients who require a supportive environment with flexible lease arrangement that meet the criteria for entry. Actively managing the portfolio of tenants to ensure that as companies mature that they graduate into other suitable business premises in Tameside. The provision of a business advisory and support service including one to one business development support and strategic planning advice to clients. Providing access to third party specialist advice as relevant to early stage companies (e.g. raising investment, innovation development, sales and marketing, export/import). Creating active internal and external networks with an events calendar supporting clients in achieving business growth. Operational and day to day management of the facility; Collecting rents and other fees and charges from tenants. Providing central reception and offering/arranging additional services to clients (e.g. administrative services). Paying all suppliers of services (electricity, gas, telephone, water charges, rates and rent). Enforcing terms and conditions of the lease with tenants. Managing and promoting the meeting room facilities. Procure & manage the provision of IT and Telecoms services. Operate the AOB Business Incubator in accordance with the business plan. Comply with rules and conditions set out from time to time by the Funders (Heritage Lottery Fund, TMBC and European Regional Development Fund). Collate data and write reports to comply with the requests of the Funders. Provide hard and soft facilities management services Tameside Centre for Enterprise (TCE) Developing the Business plan for the operation of the TCE Business Incubator.
