Arden & Greater East Midlands CSU is planning to procure on behalf of The West Midlands Clinical Network (WMCN)( part of NHS England West Midlands and its 22 West Midlands CCGs), (led by Birmingham Cross City CCG, but also including Coventry and Rugby, Herefordshire, Redditch and Bromsgrove, South Warwickshire, South Worcestershire, Warwickshire North, Wyre Forest, Birmingham Cross City, Birmingham South Central, Dudley, Sandwell and West Birmingham, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton City, Cannock Chase, East Staffordshire, North Staffordshire, Shropshire, South East Staffordshire and Seisdon Peninsular, Stafford and Surrounds, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford and Wrekin) a service from suitably qualified providers for a Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH) – Genetic Testing Service. The requirements are for a genetic screening (Index test) and follow up familial screening (cascade) service.
This notice serves to inform providers of the intention to procure these services and to seek information from the market. It is not intended as a call for competition.
Responses to this market engagement request are required to be returned by 15th July 2016 17.00
Following on from this market engagement, the objective is to run a full OJEU (Open) procurement process to seek provision for a 2 +1 year contract, later in the year. This consultation/market engagement exercise is being used to gather views from interested parties around the current draft specification for the service.
Organisations wishing to be involved in this market engagement exercise must register through the Arden & Greater East Midlands CSU’s Bravo portal. This will give providers access to the current draft service specification and providers will be asked to complete a short questionnaire aimed to gather initial thoughts from the market and to gather organisation’s details from providers who are potentially interested in delivering this service.
Instructions for registering on the Bravo Portal and accessing the draft service specification and questionnaire are as follows:

| ii) | Once registered, candidates must express interest by: |
- a)logging-in to the Arden & GEM CSU e-Tendering portal,
- b)selecting ‘PQQs Open to All Suppliers’,
- c)search for and access listing related to this contract and view details, Bravo PQQ reference pqq_246
- d)click on Express Interest
- iii)Once you have expressed interest, the opportunity will appear in ‘My PQQs’ page where you can download documentation (if required) & construct your reply as instructed. You must submit your reply on the website by the deadline stated.
