UKRI FM19194 Refit for 13 Bedrooms at Giants House

Brief Background of Requirement:

Part of a project to extend the lifespan of Giants House, at Rothera research station is to refit 13no. Bedrooms with new fitted furniture. The furniture is to be on a supply only basis, with BAS staff taking on the installation of the furniture therefore, a full illustration and assembly guide is required alongside. The tendering supplier will be provided with a floorplan drawing of a bedroom (all 13 bedrooms are identical in shape and dimensions), it will be down to the supplier to provide a basic 'Birdseye' view drawing for information purposes only, suitable for four occupants per room. This will not form part of the bid. The supplier must provide layout drawings with the tender bid and be willing at point of award, to make adjustments to drawings/layouts.

Due to logistical complications, all furniture supplied will need to be clearly marked/labelled, palletised, adequately protected and delivered on time for loading into a 20ft ISO shipping container, in readiness to be shipped to the Antarctic. All materials and items must be delivered by 22nd November 2019 (mid-day) at the latest (Earlier delivery may be possible, so good communication is vital to ensure this could be an option (but not limited to) for the contracting authority.

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.

Crown Commercial Service will process the email and then enable the Bidder to access the procurement online via the e-Sourcing Suite. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done. The Sourcing documents can then be accessed on the eSourcing Suite at: https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk using the instructions detailed in the Specification documents within Contracts Finder.
