AQP Non-Invasive Ventilation Service (NIV)

NHS Commissioners within the 7 Sussex Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) wish to jointly commission an AQP Non-Invasive Ventilation Service (NIV) service for non-complex patients.

The Provision of a Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) Service is a contract for a period of 3 years, commencing on the 1st April 2016, with the option to extend for one additional period of a maximum of 2 further years.

The 7 CCGs involved in this procurement are:

NHS Coastal West Sussex CCG

NHS Brighton and Hove CCG

NHS High Weald Lewes Havens CCG

NHS Eastbourne, Hailsham and Seaford CCG

NHS Hastings and Rother CCG

Overall annual value for the contract is £450,000. It should be noted that under the Any Qualified Provider model, there will be no guarantees of volume or payment in the contracts awarded.

In securing services from Providers, the authority needs assurance of competence, quality and safety standards, just as it would for services secured under a formal tender process.
