• 1.Aims
• To undertake a strategic assessment of natural capital and opportunities for investment in each of the four Pioneer areas, that will enable better decision making and effective prioritisation of future projects. The assessment and corresponding evidence base needs to be 'common' across all the projects to the extent possible.
• Learn lessons from the application of a natural capital approach in different geographical settings, in order to inform the development of the Government's 25 Year Environment Plan (YEP).
