NHS North East Essex CCG - Termination of Pregnancy Services Market Engagement

It is the Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) intention to procure a Termination of Pregnancy Service.

North East Essex CCG recognises how important it is that our stakeholders are informed and engaged in respect of this service.

The CCG will be taking the opportunity to review the current service specification and model with a view to making service improvements which will be informed by engagement with service users and providers.

The CCG is considering simplifying the existing pathway so there is greater consistency and clarity of provision.

North East Essex CCG therefore, is seeking suitably qualified service providers to engage on the development of this service.

North East Essex CCG believes structured sessions with providers is essential to inform our market knowledge, and the opportunities for service integration.

There will also be the opportunity to articulate how you believe your organisation can add value, support the development of specifications and outcomes to our services and to what extent can enable more effective integration with other parts of the system.

If you wish to participate in the market engagement, please complete and e-mail the expression of interest form to anthonywest2@nhs.net by 5pm on 23rd October 2015.

Sessions will be held with providers individually during October and December (dates to be confirmed).

Further details of the procurement process will be sent via the Bravo e-tendering system in due course.
