description

The Community Impact Partnership (CIP) is a joint venture between four of the UK's leading Housing Associations - Orbit Group, Clarion Housing Group, L&Q and Peabody Trust. The partnership is the first of its kind in the UK, established in 2018 its aim is to provide social investments for charities and social enterprises working in the communities served by the four partners. The CIP sits alongside the existing community investment programmes of the four partners, through which they collectively invest £30m per year. CIP launched its first £3m fund in November 2018, offering investments of between £25k and £150k with a blend of loan and grant available. An Investment Management system (IMS) is required to provide effective management of each stage of the process and to provide reporting. CIP is a Community Interest Company (CIC) jointly owned by the four partners, Orbit has taken on the role of lead partner in the venture including hosting the CIP Investment Manager. Our view is that the system is live no later than December 2019. This tender is being run via the e-procurement portal, "Procontract". If not already registered on the portal, you can register for free at www.housingprocurement.com. By registering your interest you will then be able to view all relevant documentation and questionnaire to submit a response. The closing date for receipt of tenders is 19th July. The closing date for clarification questions is 12th July - all queries that are project related must be communicated via the portal. Please note that any submission made in any format other than through the Procontract portal will be rejected.
