Bluecoat, Liverpool's centre for the contemporary arts has secured capital funding from Arts Council England and the European Regional Development Fund to redevelop public areas of the building and to introduce a range of measures that will improve energy efficiency. Bluecoat are committed to reducing their energy usage through a number of energy saving measures including changes in lighting, lighting control, building management systems and heating controls. Bluecoat invites the Tenderer to submit a Tender for the following:-

• oStrip out existing lighting and replace with low energy alternative in affected areas
• oInstall a "day extend" control for the mechanical engineering systems serving the Performance Space
• oModify controls for Garden and Sandon Rooms so each can be heated separately
• oInstall electrical meters and data loggers to monitor power consumption
