Senior Policy Advisor

The candidate will work in the Third Country Preparation Project within the Biosecurity and Food Projects Directorate. Biosecurity and Food Projects (BFP) is playing the lead role on EU Exit Day 1 preparations. By working closely with delivery partners and across other government departments, we aim to ensure the UK maintains or further enhances its high standards of food and welfare, including biosecurity. We also work to ensure that after we leave the EU, imports and exports of animals and food goods can take place with minimum friction and our trading partners can trust our systems and goods through our world class trading system.
