HCC - 01/21 - The Provision of the Children's Cross Regional Area Group Database (CCRAG)

The Council is the Host Local Authority of Children's Cross Regional Arrangements Group (CCRAG) which exists to improve outcomes for all children and young people with an emphasis on Children Looked After placed in fostering, education and social care settings. It does this by coordinating procedures that monitor the quality and costs of placements. It maintains a database of providers of residential care, special education services, 16+ services, residential family centres, independent fostering and supported lodgings. The database exists to assist placement finding, to promote information sharing between placing authorities and providers in turn increasing efficiency and placement stability.

To provide an online interactive digital Platform for the CCRAG Partnership. Central to this will be the CCRAG "Database" that acts as a communication hub and information resource for Local Authority (LA) Members of the Children's Cross Regional Arrangements Group (CCRAG), a partnership of LA Children's Services Departments hosted by Hertfordshire County Council (herein referred to as 'the Council'). The Database is presently provided at www.ccrag.org.uk.
