Bournemouth Borough Council is seeking tenders for the testing, servicing & repair of establishment and emergency lighting systems, to ensure that all systems are operating correctly and comply with current safety regulations. The works shall be the testing, servicing & repair of establishment and emergency lighting systems and comprise the following elements:
- a)Day to day repairs to faulty internal, external & emergency lighting on receipt of an emailed order or telephone call from the Councils Housing Repairs Centre.
- b)Annual cleaning of all internal, external and emergency fittings (excluding lighting columns) shall be carried out when resetting the time clocks at the end of British Summer Time.
- c)Visit all sites to adjust time clocks to summer/winter GMT.
- d)Monthly testing of all emergency lighting.
- e)Three monthly test and inspection of all internal lighting.
- f)Three monthly testing of all emergency lighting.
- g)Annual service to all emergency lighting and supply certificate.
