description

As part of Historic England's aim to champion England's heritage, we need to ensure that the value of heritage is reflected in relevant laws, government policies and planning practice. There have been far-reaching reforms to national planning policy and related legislation in recent years. Historic England wish to commission a project intended to ascertain the impact of these changes on the historic environment and the degree of consistency across a range of decisions involving designated heritage assets. It is anticipated that this project will take 5 months to complete.
