description
The Home to School Transport DPS has been operational for one year and the Council are taking this opportunity to hold a provider event on Wednesday 31st March 2021, 1.00pm - 2.30pm. Due to the pandemic, we will be holding the event virtually via Microsoft Teams.
The event will provide an opportunity for the Council to provide an introduction to the Home to School transport service, what it looks to achieve and how the DPS operates to support this. It will also be an opportunity for the Council to understand, as new providers, any difficulties you have experienced applying to be on the DPS, what could improve; what lessons can be learned from the pandemic; and how we can work together.
Your views are vital to the ongoing operation of the DPS and ensuring the very best outcomes for our SEND children and young people. Your participation in this event would be greatly valued.
If you are able to attend please email Rita.Chamber@birmingham.gov.uk to confirm your attendance and to enable a Teams link will be sent to you, via email.
We look forward to seeing you there.
