Supply of Marketing Strategy Consultancy and Services Ref: TBW052

Sandwell Council, Borough Economy, are seeking a marketing consultant or consultancy to review our current marketing tools and assets and develop a marketing strategy for our service.

We are currently recruiting a Marketing Officer to promote and drive visitor numbers to our destination sites (Sandwell Valley Country Park and Lightwoods House and Park), promote and increase attendance and participation at our events, and promote other aspects of our service, such as Green Spaces. We are also recruiting an additional Marketing Officer to support for one year to develop the Visit Sandwell brand, and promote the tourism, cultural, and visitor benefits of Sandwell.

The delivery of this marketing strategy will need to be the following timescales:

1. Drafting of a marketing strategy and delivery plan by mid- October for the leisure facility portfolio (not including West Bromwich Leisure Centre) and a specific launch plan for the Sandwell Aquatic Centre which opens to the community in Summer 2023 - (no later than 14th October).

• 2.Drafting of marketing strategy and delivery plan by end-October for the service, including:
• a.Sandwell Valley Country Park
• b.Lightwoods House and Park
• c.Events
• d.Tourism and Culture (including Visit Sandwell)
