UKRI had a requirement to assess the Impact of the SBRI funding since its inception in 2009. The study will comprise of three main parts.
- The development of an evaluation framework to assess the impact of the SBRI programme
- A review of the available literature and other factors that support initiatives such as the SBRI. A clear depiction of the drivers for procurement driven innovation and what evidence is there to support the use of these types of initiatives.
- An economic impact evaluation of the SBRI, including appropriate impact in-depth case studies (12 Case Studies).
