A47 North Tuddenham to Easton Scheme

Package: Compound Security

Galliford Try, as the East Region Delivery Partner are delivering the A47 Tuddenham to Easton Dualling project in the county of Norfolk on behalf of Highways England.

The project will complete the dual carriageway between Norwich and Dereham, supporting economic growth and easing congestion in the area.

The project has recently submitted a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate and the project is forecast to commence on site in early 2024 and will take around 2 years to complete.

The A47 Tuddenham to Easton delivery team is looking for Contractors to deliver the site security for the whole site.

Outline Scope of Works - The Package of Security consists

• o24hr guarding of the main compound including access control

• oRoaming/mobile guarding of site over nights and weekends

• oStatic guarding of some satellite compounds

• oTimely reporting, Daily, Weekly and Monthly

• oMake regular site visits, actively monitor the staff protocol and safety

• oDeter and Detect unauthorised access

All interested contractors should hold all the relevant certification and qualifications for providing these type of works

Programme:

It is anticipated that the site security works will commence in end of 2023

Timings:

Deadline for Notifications of Interest 16:00 hrs on 23rd June 2023

Galliford Try Procurement Process:

To secure work with Galliford Try, a supplier will need to pass the PAS91 onboarding process administered through Builders Profile. Details will be shared with shortlisted Subcontractors.
