description

The London Digital Mental Wellbeing project, collaboratively commissioned by all London Clinical Commissioning Groups and the majority of London Boroughs, seeks to procure the development and provision of an online London-wide Digital Mental Health service to support the estimated 1.1m Londoners who have an undiagnosed and untreated common mental disorder.

The vision is to improve mental wellbeing and increase mental health resilience of adults in London, by offering an open access digital service to London’s 6.5m adults. A successful service will help reduce London’s greater levels of need and reduce pressure on other health and care services.

London will be the first city in the world to develop this type of project at scale, delivering a preventative city-wide service using digital innovation to enable users to self-assess and manage their own mental wellbeing via advice, peer-to-peer support, virtual communities and online support.

The estimated annual contract value is approximately £1,000,000. Initial contract duration will be 2 years with an option to extend for further 2 years.

A Bidders’ Engagement Event will be held on 6th October 2015. Further details about the time, location and the agenda will be circulated to interested organisations in advance of the event. Please express your interest in attending the event by an e-mail to WELCPOD-procurement@nelcsu.nhs.uk by no later 1200hrs on 5th October 2015 with the name, job title, e-mail address of the attendees (maximum 1 delegates per organisation).
