The overall impact of the China Infrastructure Programme is intended to be (1) inclusive growth and poverty alleviation in ODA-eligible third countries through cooperation with China on infrastructure (including as part of the Belt and Road Initiative), and (2) increased infrastructure trade and investment cooperation between Chinese and international (including UK) businesses. Through these two objectives the Programme will meet the primary and secondary benefits of the Prosperity Fund outlined in 1.12.
