Dorset Waste Partnership (DWP) working with its Local Government neighbours; Bournemouth BoroughCouncil (BBC) and the Borough of Poole (BoP), referred to as the "Dorset Authorities" for the purpose of thisnotice, wish to host PRELIMINARY MARKET CONSULTATIONS to discuss the future prospects for Dorset'sLocal Authority RESIDUAL WASTE.
It is proposed that consolation will be in the form of ONE TO ONE MEETINGS between individual organisationsand Officers from the Dorset Authorities.
Meetings will be held in the DWP offices in Dorchester, during June/July 2017, with specific dates to be agreedfollowing registration.

Across the Dorset Authorities existing contractual arrangements for these services are due to expire in August2018 (DWP EfW Contract), August 2020 (DWP Landfill Contracts), August 2021 (DWP& BBC MBT Contracts)and August 2027 (BoP Combined Contract) respectively.
The Dorset Authorities wish to consult with interested residual waste treatment/recovery operators and brokers who can provide compliant outlets for Dorset's residual waste.
Operators should be capable, flexible and ambitious resource management organisations:
- a)Providing good quality and cost effective services in the background of public sector spending cuts
- b)Ensuring high levels of energy efficiency and reliability from proven technology
- c)Adaptable to a changing resource management industry
