Cefas provides ecotoxicology services to a range of industrial sectors, including oil and gas, nuclear energy, veterinary medicine, chemical manufacturers/suppliers, water industry, biocides and emergency response. The ecotoxicology team offer a broad range of acute and chronic ecotoxicology studies run to both standard guidelines (e.g. OECD) and as bespoke tests to assess chemical and effluent toxicity. Cefas has a proven track record of providing regulatory testing, including the delivery of marine, freshwater and sediment testing to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliancy.

Requirement:

Suitably experienced auditors to provide Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Quality Assurance services to Cefas, Lowestoft NR33 0HT. The intention is to build a small framework of suppliers that can be called upon when required (call-off arrangement) to provide assistance with the implementation of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Quality Assurance requirements.

It is expected that successful Tenderers will have previous experience and will be required to cover (but not limited to) the following areas:

  • Performing audits of study plans
  • Performing audits of data and reports
  • Conducting study specific inspections
  • Conducting process-based inspections
  • Conducting facility audits of the Customer's test facility
  • Provision of training relevant to services provided
  • Provision of guidance and advice on GLP concerns and issues
  • Attending Regulatory Inspections by the UK GLPMA
